Residents can choose the formats of alerts they would like to receive as well as the types of alerts including everything from emergencies, library, recreation and senior happenings to assessor and tax notices.

To sign up for the program, residents will need to click here, and create a user name and password.

Unfortunately, any residents who had signed up previously, not all of the information was able to transfer from the old system to the new, so when trying to sign, they may get a message that there is a record in your name already. If this is the case, please follow the instructions and update any information needed.

The town said residents should be sure to choose the notifications they would like to receive and add any additional phone numbers or email addresses.

Please Note: Every registrant will automatically receive general and emergency information (including agendas) from the town as well as police alerts.

In addition to the online system, residents can also download the Swift 911 app available Android, IPhone or Windows Phones or text SWIFT911 to 99538 for instructions on downloading the app.

The old notification systems will be deactivated on March 1st. After that date, residents must be signed up with Swift911 in order to receive any notifications from the Town. If you have questions, call the Supervisor’s office at 914-771-3303.
