TSA Gives Westchester's Bee-Line Buses A Gold Standard Rating

This past spring, the public was reminded to report suspicious packages or behavior in the “See Something, Say Something” campaign, known as “Bee-Aware.”

"We have worked to make sure our Bee-Line is safe for all, and we continue to improve our security through programs such as our 'See Something, Say Something' campaign, our most recent initiative,” Astorino said in a statement.  “We are pleased to have been recognized."

The Gold Standard award is given to mass transit agencies that meet specific security requirements set by the TSA, the county said. The Bee-Line system was reviewed and attained high scores across all categories, the county announced.
