TUCKAHOE, N.Y. Sky Williams led the way with 26 points and the Tuckahoe boys basketball team held off a valiant visiting Greeley squad Tuesday to earn a 66-62 victory.
The unbeaten Tigers (5-0) won their fifth straight game to start the season and Williams, who also had seven rebounds and four assists, moved to within 45 points of a career total of 1,000. Williams scored 20 of his 26 points in the second half.
Tuckahoe led 26-23 at halftime and outscored the Quakers 40-39 in a high-scoring second half. Mark Raymond had 13 points and nine rebounds and Shyheim Nixon added 12 points and seven boards for the Tigers.
Harrison Brown scored a team-high 25 for Greeley and Connor Domerschuck added 12.
