  • If Tuckahoe resident Susan Coliskey wasn't a fan of NASCAR before, she certainly is now after winning $1 million tax free just before the Sylvania 300 on Sunday, Sept. 21, in Concord, N.H.
  • Jennifer Czarniecki, a Mohegan Lake resident who was crowned Mrs. Westchester in January, was arrested and charged with stealing from the group home where she worked, according to Investigator John Rodriguez of the New York State Police.
  • The amber alert issued by the Putnam County Sheriff's Department  just before 11 a.m. Tuesday was rescinded after the child was found unharmed.
  • Although the Bronxville Village Board of Trustees approved an engineering contract calling for work to be done on the Parkway Road Bridge, more delays may be in store as they wait for a response from the other municipalities sharing the bill.
