After briefly re-opening, the Hutchinson River Parkway southbound has closed again between Exit 15 Cross County Parkway & Exit 12- East Lincoln Ave.

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- The 4 inches of rainfall recorded in White Plains at 7 a.m. Thursday have taken their toll on several Westchester roadways, with numerous closures as a result of flooding.
The Saw Mill River Parkway is closed northbound between I-87 and Route 119 (Exit 21). The closure began overnight. The Saw Mill is also closed northbound further south between Tompkins Avenue (Exit 11) and Lawrence Street (Exit 16).
One lane has been re-opened on the Saw Mill southbound between Lawrence Street (Exit 16) and the Farragut Parkway and southbound between I-287 (Exit 22) and Mountain Road.
The Bronx River Parkway is closed northbound between the Sprain Brook Pkwy and Westchester Cnty Center (Routes 100, 119 and 22) and southbound between Old Tarrytown Road/Cemetery Rd (Exit 23) and the Sprain Brook Parkway.
The Bronx River Parkway is also closed southbound etween the Sprain Brook Parkway and Exit 21 at State Highway 119 due to flooding.
The Cross County Parkway is closed eastbound between Route 22/Columbus Avenue (Exit 8) and the Hutchinson River Parkway (Exit 9).
The Hutchinson River Parkway is closed northbound between I-95 and East Lincoln Avenue and southbound between the Cross County Parkway (Exit 15) and Route 1 (Exit 7).
Several accidents were also reported during the morning commute.
An accident on the southbound Taconic State Parkway, between Route 117 and the Saw Mill River Parkway, resulted in slow traffic.
An accident on I-684 southbound between I-84 and Hardscrabble Road also resulted in congestion.
There was also an accident at the intersection of Route 100 and Route 138.
