Eastchester Will See Midweek Temperature Plunge, Rain, Possible Snow

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Falling temperatures and the possibility of frozen precipitation in the middle of the week will remind Westchester County residents that winter weather hasn't left the area for good quite yet.

Rain will roll into the area early on Tuesday, with rain becoming heavy at times. Chance of precipitation is near 100 percent.

Temperatures could dip below freezing on Tuesday night, creating periods of sleet and snow. Winds will remain blustery with gusts as high as 36 mph.

Sun will return on Wednesday, but winds will remain strong out of the northwest between 17 and 23 mph. Temperatures will only climb into the high 40s.

Temperatures will struggle to rebound through the end of the week with highs in the high 40s to low 50s.
