Monday, July 2

Pre-school crafts: 3:30 p.m. to 4:30 p.m. A Wild West themed drawing and pasting activity for children ages 3 and up at the Bronxville Public Library. 201 Pondfield Road, Bronxville.

Pajama time: 7 p.m. Wear your pajamas and bring your teddy bears to the Tuckahoe Public Library. Join Miss Ellen for pre-bedtime stories and fun. Open to children ages 4 and up. Registration is required, (914) 961-2121. 71 Columbus Ave., Tuckahoe.

Tuesday, July 3

Film series: 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. The Eastchester Public Library will play “Mission Impossible IV,” starring Tom Cruise as part of its film series. 11 Oakridge Pl., Eastchester.

Tai Chi class: 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Introductory level Tai Chi class, open to all students. Learn the basics of Tai Chi with Master Domingo Colon, who has more than 45 years of experience. Individualized instruction makes it east to learn this relaxing health system. Campfire tales: 7 p.m. to 8 p.m. Gather around a fake fire on the Bronxville Public Library lawn for stories, songs and activities. Recommended for children ages 3 and up. Campfire ghost stories for older children will follow. 201 Pondfield Road, Bronxville.

Planning Board meeting: 8:30 p.m. the Tuckahoe Village Planning Board is hosting a special meeting. They will be discussing site plan approval for a multi-family residential with commercial component at the Crestwood Station Plaza. 65 Main St., Tuckahoe.

Wednesday, July 4

Holiday Closings: The Tuckahoe Village offices will be closed in celebration of Independence Day.

Thursday, July 5

Stories for babies: 11 a.m. Join Miss Ellen for stories and rhymes geared toward babies. Open to children 2 years old and younger. 71 Columbus Ave., Tuckahoe.

Memoir writing: 12 p.m. The Tuckahoe Public Library will have a memoir-writing workshop for adults. 71 Columbus Ave., Tuckahoe.

Teen film: 3:30 p.m. to 5 p.m. The Bronxville Public Library will screen “The Darkest Hour.” The movie is described as “the story of five young people who find themselves stranded in Moscow, fighting to survive in the wake of a devastating alien attack.” 201 Pondfield Road, Bronxville.
