EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Here is a list of public places around Eastchester and Bronxville that will be closed during Memorial Day weekend.

Town of Eastchester

  • Town Hall will be closed on Monday.
  • The Eastchester Public Library will close at 5 p.m. on Friday, reopening on Tuesday.
  • Eastchester schools will be closed on Monday.
  • The Eastchester Post Office will be closed on Monday.
  • Lake Isle Country Club will have an open house from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Monday.

Village of Tuckahoe

  • Village Hall will be closed on Monday.
  • The Tuckahoe Public Library will for the weekend and reopen on Monday.
  • Tuckahoe schools will be closed on Monday.
  • The Tuckahoe Post Office will be closed on Monday.
  • Garbage pickup will take place on Thursday.

Village of Bronxville

  • Village Hall will be closed on Monday.
  • The Bronxville Public Library will be closed on Monday.
  • Bronxville schools will be closed on Monday.

Metro-North Railroad will have several extra trains on the Hudson, Harlem and New Haven lines on Friday for those looking to get an early start on the weekend. Trains will operate on a regular weekend schedule on Saturday and Sunday, while they will be on a Sunday schedule on Monday with one extra inbound train to Grand Central Station.
