Alfred Boniello, 75, Eastchester Korean War Vet

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Alfred Boniello of Eastchester died Sept. 2. He was 75. 

Born Oct. 9, 1936, he was the son of Vincenzo and Assunta Boniello. He served in the Army during the Korean War. He owned Royal Car Services and before selling it to L&J Limo, where he worked until his retirement in June. Boniello was a member of American Legion Post 0001. 

He is survived by a sister, Mary (Waren) Pielli; a sister-in-law, Jeanette; two brothers, Carlo (Jean) Boniello and Gaetano (Maureen) Boniello; and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by three brothers, John, Vincenzo and Carmen; and two sisters, Louise Bonaro and Josephine Avena.

Burial will be private. Memorial donations may be made to cancer research. Gunipero-Farenga Funeral Home in Port Chester is handling arrangements.
