Born in Italy, he also married there before immigrating to the United States in 1963. Zeolla was a stone mason for Bergen Bluestone; he retired in 1994.
He is survived by his wife, Carmela (Piacquadio) Zeolla; son Joey and his wife Olga; grandsons Joseph and Michael; and many nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by his brothers Giuseppe, Serafino and Giovanni.
Visiting hours are from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the Yannantuono Funeral Home, 584 Gramatan Ave., Mount Vernon. A Mass will be conducted at 9:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Immaculate Conception Church, 53 Winter Hill Road, Tuckahoe. Entombment will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery.
