EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- Longtime Eastchester resident Carmela Luongo died on Sunday, Dec. 13. She was 85.
A native of Italy, Carmela worked for many years at Kings Electronics in Tuckahoe.
Carmela is survived by her children, Gerard Luongo and his wife Adriana; and Teresa Lasorsa and her husband Vito; grandchildren, Maria, Lilliana, Vincent, Daniel and Giancarlo Luongo; and great-grandsons, Anthony and Matteo.
She is predeceased by her husband, Vito Luongo, earlier this year, and her parents, Carmine and Teresa (Fuschetto) DellePrune.
The funeral takes place at 9:30 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 17 at Church of the Assumption in Tuckahoe , with interment to follow at Kensico Cemetery.
