Dominick Scaramuzzino, Former Tuckahoe Resident, 77

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- Dominick Scaramuzzino of Tuckahoe died Wednesday, Feb. 4. He was 77.

He was born on Oct. 1, 1937, in Italy to Leonardo and Natalie Scaramuzzino. 

He served in the U.S. Coast Guard from 1957-58. He was a union carpenter in New York City for more than 30 years. He was an avid Yankee fan and he enjoyed gardening. In retirement, he enjoyed spending time with friends and family at Mohegan Sun and at his daughter's home in Florida.

He was predeceased by his brother Joseph. 

He is survived by his wife, Marion Mass Scaramuzzino, his children, Lori (Chuck) Larrabee, Christine (Keith) Hopkins, Terri Scaramuzzino and Dominick (Jeannine) Scaramuzzino; grandchildren Christine, Nicholas and Steven Larrabee, Meagan and Emily Hopkins. He is also survived by his great-grandchildren, Damian Larrabee and Ava Tartaglione. He also leaves behind his sister-in-law, Johanna Cotroneo; sisters, Catherine (brother-in-law Vincent) Tambone and Mimi (brother-in-law Paul) Caron.

The family will receive friends at the Westchester Funeral Home Inc. in Eastchester on Saturday, Feb. 7, from 3-7 p.m. A memorial service will be held at 6:30 p.m. at the funeral home.
