Ernest Zocchi, 78, Of Tuckahoe, Owned Crestwood Market

TUCKAHOE, N.Y. - Ernest Zocchi of Tuckahoe died July 27. He was 78.

Zocchi owned the Crestwood Market in Tuckahoe for over 30 years, served as a trustee in the Village and was the Tuckahoe Village Historian. He also served in the Army and was a member of the AACA and the Buick Club of America.

Zocchi is survived by his children, Stefanie Zocchi-Gizzo (Anthony), Barbara Grasso (Michael) and Valerie Dimino (Dominic); siblings, Jessie Huestis, Yolanda Springer, Valenti Zocchi, Rudy Zocchi and John Charles Zocchi; nine grandchildren. He was predeceased by his siblings, Clisi, George and Julia Zocchi and Mary Ludovici.

Calling hours are Wednesday, July 31 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Westchester Funeral Home Inc., Eastchester. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 1 at the  Assumption Church, Tuckahoe.
