TUCKAHOE, N.Y. -- Flora Farella, a Tuckahoe resident, died Tuesday, Feb. 10. She was 89.
She is survived by her children, Janis Conklin and Robert (Joan) Farella; her grandchildren, Edward (Lisa) Conklin, Melissa (Jared) Hamilton, James Conklin, Robert Conklin, Robert Farella and Lauren Farella; and great-grandchildren Edward (Lisa) Conklin, Melissa (Jared) Hamilton, James Conklin, Robert Conklin, Robert Farella and Lauren Farella.
She is also survived by her sister Nancy Stepe; her brother Dick Pagliaroli; her sister Susie DelNero; her brother Armand Pagliaroli; her brother Guido Pagliaroli; and her sister Rose Pagliaroli.
She was predeceased by her sister Lucky Kafer and son-in-law Edward Conklin.
Farella loved art and music, especially Italian opera. Her appreciation for her Italian heritage and culture was a constant interest throughout her life. Among her hobbies were writing, reading, sewing, crocheting and, in her earlier years, making clothing for family and friends, especially the children.
The family will receive friends at Westchester Funeral Home Inc. in Eastchester on Friday, Feb. 13, from 4-8 p.m. Mass will be held at Assumption Church in Tuckahoe on Saturday, Feb. 14, at 10:30 a.m. Interment will follow at Holy Mount Cemetery.
