TUCKAHOE, N.Y. - Fortunata Latella, a longtime resident of Tuckahoe, died April 15. She was 63.
Latella was born July 14, 1950, in Porticello, Calabria, Italy, to Rocco and Carmela (Bellantoni) Lofaro.
Latella is survived by her husband, Antonino Latella; children, Rocco Latella (Lee-Ann), Josephine Nunes (Robert), and Nino Latella; six grandchildren; and siblings in Italy, Pasquale, Gaetano, Antonio, Carmela, and Domenico Lofaro. She was predeceased by her parents.
Calling hours are Thursday, April 17 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Westchester Funeral Home, Inc. Eastchester. A funeral blessing will take place at 10:30 a.m. Friday, April 18 at The Church of the Assumption. Interment to follow at the Greenwood Union Cemetery, Rye.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in Latella's name to the American Diabetes Association.
