TUCKAHOE, N.Y. Josephine Filardi, a lifelong resident of Tuckahoe, died Aug. 21. She was 78.
Filardi was the daughter of Josephine Gagliardi and Joseph Marinello Sr. She worked at National Bank of Westchester in Tuckahoe for many years, eventually becoming head teller.
She was predeceased by her husband, Frank "Flip" Filardi; and three sisters, Joan Spadaro, Gloria Marcin and Caroline Marinello. She is survived by a brother, Joseph (Anna Maria) Marinello Jr.; and several nieces and nephews.
Visiting hours are from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Friday at Westchester Funeral Home in Eastchester. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at Assumption Church in Tuckahoe. Burial will follow at Holy Mount Cemetery.
