Madeline Galetta, 79, Of Eastchester

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Madeline Galetta of Eastchester died Aug. 30. She was 79. 

Galetta was born Feb. 28, 1933, in White Plains to John and Ruth Vincent Paulus. She married Peter Galetta on Nov. 2, 1952. 

She is survived by her husband, Peter; four children Peter (Marcie), Susan, Lori (James) Costello and Michael (Denise); four grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by a sister, Margaret Parker and a brother, Valentine Paulus. 

A Mass of Christian burial was celebrated Tuesday at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Edwin L. Bennett Funeral Home in Scarsdale handled arrangements.
