PEEKSKILL, N.Y. - Paul E. Reichert, a lifelong Peekskill and Putnam Valley resident, May 2. He was 88.
Reichert was born April 15, 1925, in Peekskill. He served in the U.S. Navy from 1943-46. He worked in sales for 44 years at the CPC International in New York City, retiring in the late ‘80s. He was a member of the Putnam Valley Fire Department, where he served as past chief.
Reichert is survived by his sons, Douglas (Mary) Reichert, Stephen Reichert, and Karl (Tracey) Reichert; and four grandchildren. He was predeceased by his wife, Babette (Cutbill) Reichert.
Calling hours are Sunday, May 5 from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the E.O. Curry Funeral Home, Peekskill, where a Funeral Service will be offered at 10 a.m., Monday, May 6 followed by interment and military honors at the Hillside Cemetery, Cortlandt Manor.
