EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- Eastchester resident Salvatore Pepe died Wednesday, Feb. 3. He was 87.
Pepe was a self-employed truck driver. After he retired, he worked part time at CVS.
He is survived by his children, Peter Pepe, Salvatore Pepe and Joseph Pepe; grandchildren Mark, Trina, Jennifer and Samantha; great-grandchildren Noah Joseph, Evelyn Rose and Amelia Sophia; niece Cira Marie; sister Pauline Tedesco; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
Pepe was predeceased by his wife, Rose Pepe; parents Peter and Anna Tortoricci Pepe; and sister Anna Sclafani.
Visiting hours were scheduled for 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday, Feb. 5, at the Westchester Funeral Home, 190 Main St., Eastchester. A Mass will be celebrated at 9:30 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 6, at Immaculate Conception Church, in Tuckahoe, with interment to follow at Gate of Heaven.
