TUCKAHOE, N.Y. - Vera (Perrone) Donato of Tuckahoe, formerly of Mt Vernon, died July 8. She was 92.
Donato was born to Maria and Antonio. She worked several years for the New Rochelle Schools as a cafeteria worker.
Donato is survived by her children, Peter (Donna) Donato; daughter, Carolyn (Stephen) Mylenski; six grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her parents; husband Alfred Donato; and sister, Lena Druce.
Calling hours are Friday, July 11 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Yannantuono Burr Davis Sharpe Funeral Home, 584 Gramatan Ave., Mt. Vernon, NY 10552 (914) 699-4010. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 12 at Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, Scarsdale.
