HeartSong, a creative arts therapy program, comes to the center Tuesday for an interactive singalong.
The center is traveling to Westchester Broadway Theatre Thursday to see “Westside Story,” one of the most beloved musicals ever. There are still some tickets available at $55 for members and $65 for guests.
The Cottle School has invited the center to participate in the spring concert and luncheon on Tuesday, April 28, at the school. Over the years Cottle School teacher Melissa Vaccaro has organized this popular event, which showcases student performers.
There are also several interesting in-house presentations coming up in April. Historian David Osborn from St. Paul’s Church National Historic Site will visit Tuesday to discuss World War I.
Monica Magner returns on Tuesday, April 21, to talk about Medicare and hospitalization.
With the arrival of spring, the center is also upping physical activities. There is no excuse for not finding some way to get in some exercise this month. Thanks to a donation from Keller Williams, this month the center is able to offer an additional class in line dancing and tai chi.
The calligraphy series with Anne Tascio also continues for three more sessions in April, and if there is enough interest, another series will be added in May.
Lastly, remember to bring in food donations to benefit ECAP’s food pantry.
