To The Editor:
We would like to remind our friends and neighbors to please remember The Community Fund in their year-end giving. We are about half way to reaching our goal of $550,000 the total required to meet the critical needs of the agencies and programs that serve the residents of our community (Bronxville 10708, Eastchester and Tuckahoe).
In February, more than fifty board members and community volunteers will begin the annual due diligence process of evaluating the social service agencies and community programs we support. Since Community Fund grants are based on contributions received, donations and pledges received before the beginning of the evaluation process assist us in determining the level of financial support we can provide these agencies and programs that deliver essential services to our community.
Many thanks to all who have already given so generously to support us in our effort to help the 24 agencies and programs that are so vital to our community. For ninety-four years the Community Fund has helped meet the needs of our community and we are able to do so only with your help.
