TUCKAHOE, N.Y. – The Eastchester Police Department will more stringently enforce traffic laws around Tuckahoe Schools beginning Wednesday, it announced.
Tuckahoe Superintendent Edward Reilly sent a notice to motorists advising them that idling, speeding, illegal U-turns and illegal parking violations will be more strictly monitored.
“Starting Wednesday morning, the Eastchester Police Department will begin vigorous enforcement of all traffic violations in and around the Tuckahoe Schools,” he said. “For the safety of our children and neighbors, please obey all traffic regulations.”
