Firefighters Battle Basement Blaze In Scarsdale

SCARSDALE, N.Y. - Multiple agencies battled a fire at a two-story home in Scarsdale.

Shortly before 3 p.m. on Friday afternoon, first responders were dispatched to 34 Stonewall Lane, where there was an active structure fire reported. Officials confirmed that the fire started in a basement, though the cause of the blaze is unclear.

First-responders from Greenville, Hartsdale and Scarsdale Fire Department were dispatched to the scene. The extent of the fire was not immediately available.
