Among those charged included 25-year-old Jeremy Lavar Kidd, of White Plains, whom police arrested and charged with criminal possession of narcotics with intent to sell, a felony, on Jan. 7. Police received a call at 4:45 p.m. that a man was conducting a drug deal in the parking lot of Wyndover Woods Apartments, 5 Wyndover Woods Lane, according to police reports.

Police approached Kidd and another man in a vehicle of the parking lot that matched the caller's description, and found that Kidd had two active arrest warrants out in his name, police said. Police found a pill bottle in Kidd's pocket with 46 Oxycodone pills and arrested him.

On Jan. 8, police pulled over Bret Kammerer, 22, of Somers, for using his cell phone while driving on the Sprain Brook Parkway near the Dobbs Ferry Road intersection at 1:30 p.m.  When they approached the vehicle, police saw a hypodermic needle in plain view on the car's center console. A search of Kammerer's car revealed 25 envelopes containing what police believed to be heroin found in the driver's visor area.

Kammerer was arrested and charged with criminal possession of a controlled substance, a misdemeanor, police said.

On Jan. 10, police charged 29-year-old Charles Pegram, of Ardsley, with fifth-degree criminal possession, a misdemeanor, after police observed him lighting a hand-rolled cigar that was later found to contain marijuana. Police pulled over Pegram in his vehicle and smelled marijuana in the car and saw him drop the marijuana cigar onto the floor.

Police also filed three unlawful marijuana possession charges. On Jan. 8, police charged a 19-year-old man and 20-year-old man, both from Yonkers, for marijuana possession, a violation, in the parking lot outside of Shop Rite, 1001 S. Central Avenue.

On Jan. 10, a 35-year-old Elmsford man was also charged with marijuana possession at the same Shop Rite parking lot.
