PEEKSKILL, N.Y. – A pair of Peekskill men that state police say are responsible for significant heroin sales in the Northern Westchester region were arrested in the last week.

William Kelly, 24, was arrested Feb. 6 and charged with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, a felony.

A few days later Daniel Hall, 23, was arrested and charged with multiple counts of third-degree criminal possession and criminal sale of a controlled substance, both felonies, and possession of a hypodermic instrument, a misdemeanor.

The investigation into heroin distribution and other dangerous drugs in the area is ongoing, police said.

Anyone with information should call the State Police at 914-737-7171. Your call can remain confidential.

This past weekend, county police recovered 16 grams of cocaine, 10 glassine envelopes of heroin, 50 pipes used to smoke crack cocaine and arrested five people on related drug charges at an Ossining home, police said. You can read about that heroin/cocaine bust here.

Criminals like the drug addicts or users? Will do everything just to hide their illegal businesses and wrong doings. Too bad for their victims. Especially the teenagers. It's too dangerous.. It's either the criminals will be held on jail?or you will end up in your grave!!..But as for me? I feel so great and safe, Because I found a Safety application named the Safekidzone. This phone app., has a feature which track the Sex Offenders in my area. Well regarding on this matter??Being safety is the most convenient and practical way of living. These dealers are the scum of the earth they should be in coffins too!

Bryrow:

Too bad it takes several deaths to generate arrests of people that have been known to be dealing for quite some time.

WPEyesNEars, please don't think I am painting PSH as a victim...technically he is, and yes, at his own hand, but there's more to it than that. The real victims are first his children, and second his partner or ex and other friends and family. However, make no mistake that he was an ADDICT who stayed clean for over 20 years, for some reason fell off the wagon, and no one in his life was there at just the right time to help him get back on track.

Most of us have an addiction to something, whether it's drugs, alchohol, gambling, work, cheating, lying...whatever. What's important to recognize is not the vice that illuminates the destructive behavior, it's that the destructive behavior is borne from DISEASE. Addiction is a condition that some people can manage, but others simply cannot. What keeps you from eating a tub of your favorite ice cream from the fridge at 2am? It's your brain's ability to exert willpower over impulse. Unfortunately, we are not all born with the same healthy levels of each, hence addiction, and sadly destitution, obesity, a family who no longer knows you, and even death can be the end result.

WPEyesNEars:

This is a waste of time. We're having a resurgence because of availability and a higher level of drugs of drugs getting into the US. Plus, a higher level of income provides the "seed" money to start dabbling. Its once they are addicted that the crimes start. PSH was an a**hole. HE chose to stick the needle into his arm. He chose to hurt his wife/girlfriend. HE chose to abandon his kids. HE chose to die. Stop making him out to be the victim. HE is the perpetrator here.

HEROIN AND OTHER DRUGS WILL DAMAGE THE BRAINS OF THE VICTIMS. CONSIDERING THE INCREASE IN DRUGS DEPENDENCY AMONG THE YOUTH THE GOVERNMENT HAS TO BRING REGULATIONS TO BAN HEROIN, MARIJUANA, AND OTHER CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES, INSTEAD OF PROMOTING THEM.IT IS SHAMEFUL THAT SOME OF OUR KNOWN POLITICIANS ARE TRYING TO LEGALIZE THESE DRUGS, AND THEY ARE ACTUALLY PROMOTING THE DRUG CULTURE. THOSE WHO ARE ADDICTED TO DRUGS ARE ONLY THE VICTIMS, AND THOSE WHO ARE PROMOTING THE DRUG CULTURE BY LEGALIZING IT HAS TO BE PROSECUTED. THEY ARE RESPONSIBLE FOR IT. THE DRUG CULTURE IN AMERICA WILL RUIN OUR YOUNGER GENERATION. THE ONLY SOLUTION TO THIS PROBLEM IS TO BAN ALL DRUGS WHICH WILL DAMAGE PEOPLE'S BRAINS. THOSE POLITICIANS WHO PROMOTE AND SUPPORT THE IDEA OF LEGALIZATION OF DRUGS HAS TO BE PROSECUTED. IT IS TIME FOR US, THE GENERAL PUBLIC, TO RAISE OUR VOICES AGAINST THE IDEA OF LEGALIZING DRUGS.

lovingeorge88:

Stop calling for prosecution of people that call for legalization of marijuana. Voice your opinion on the matter, but stop calling for people who voice the opposite opinion to be jailed. This is a democracy. There is a right to free speech. Just like you are talking out against drug policy reform people are allowed to talk out in support of it.
