Scarsdale Man Charged in Tuckahoe

TUCKAHOE, N.Y. – A 67-year-old Scarsdale resident was charged by Tuckahoe Police on Wednesday with aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, a misdemeanor.

According to police, Turner Davis’ 2000 BMW M5 was stopped by a patrol officer who observed an out-of-date 2011 inspection sticker on his windshield. Once stopped, the officer found that Davis had a suspended driver’s license and that his vehicle’s registration had expired.

Davis was issued a summons and was allowed to have his vehicle towed to a garage, and is in the process of “straightening everything out,” according to police. He is due in court at on June 26.

Harassment claims: A former New York City resident, now living in Tuckahoe claims that her ex-boyfriend is posting unwanted and explicit photos of her on the Internet. The case is currently under further investigation.

Stolen license plates: The owner of a vehicle parked in the Main Street parking lot reported that both license plates on her car were stolen on June 1.
