The department’s open house from 10:30 a.m. to noon will include the following activities.
- Opportunities to ask police officers questions.
- Demonstrations of firearms simulator training.
- Information and demonstrations from the emergency response unit, motorcycle unit, and bicycle patrol unit.
- Refreshments and giveaways.
Officials will lead free tours of the Tuckahoe police headquarters every 30 minutes but space is limited.
Interested visitors must register for a spot on one of the three tours being offered; registration will be on-site at the open house.
The Tuckahoe Police Department is at 65 Main St.
