Two Eastchester Teens Charged At Lake Isle

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Two Eastchester youths were arrested during the Columbus Day Carnival over the weekend at Lake Isle Country Club, police said.

Eastchester police Lt. Robert Jensen said that shortly after 8:30 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 6, police saw a 16-year-old girl who had alcohol with her. She was issued an appearance ticket and charged with possession of alcohol under the age of 21 with intent to consume. She was released to her parents at the carnival.

A few hours later, just before 11 p.m., a 16-year-old Eastchester boy was taken to police headquarters and charged with trespassing. Police said the teenager started getting rowdy and was asked to leave. He sneaked back in twice and was again escorted out of the country club. The third time around, two undercover officers arrested him.

The following items also were reported by Eastchester police:

Car Break-In: An empty Gucci bag was stolen from a Scarsdale Avenue resident’s car after the rear driver’s side window was smashed. Police said the Toyota Solara was parked in the rear lot of an apartment complex at 11 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 10, and the victim discovered the damage the next morning. Police searched for the item used to break the window but did not find anything.

Warrant Arrest: Eastchester police served a warrant on a Mount Vernon man on Sunday, Oct. 7. Claude L. Uzzle, 30, had a warrant out for his arrest after he was charged with driving with a suspended license and registration and skipping bail.
