WHITE PLAINS, N.Y. — Two women were arrested and charged with using cocaine in a White Plains parking lot, according to a police report.

Kyrie Nicastri, 24, from Brewster, and Meghan Spencer, 25, from Eastchester, were both charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, and first-degree loitering, both misdemeanors.

Police watching the area of 9 Chester Ave. about 1:40 a.m. Saturday saw two woman sitting in a silver Honda holding plastic bags in their hands and scooping with a key a small amount of an unknown substance. The women then held the key under their noses and inhaled deeply, the police report says.

The report states that police, who believed the suspects were using cocaine, searched Nacastri's pocket book and found two more zip lock bags. One contained a white powdery substance believed to be cocaine, and the other contained an off-white chunky substance believed to be a crushed pill, the report says. Police also found a pill bottle with a clear piece of plastic with a white powdery substance also believed to be cocaine, the report says.

Both suspects were arrested and released on $150 bail with a court date on Oct. 25.

Can we stop getting all the trash from nearby towns? They need to take down some of the housing around here.
