Verizon Store Reportedly Robbed By Knife-Wielding Men In Bronxville

WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. - A busy Verizon store in the heart of Bronxville was reportedly held up at knifepoint over the weekend.

The A Wireless location on Pondfield Road, which is an authorized Verizon Wireless agent, was robbed by three knife-wielding men on Sunday, according to multiple reports.

It was not immediately clear if the suspects - who have not been identified - made off with any cash or merchandise in the incident. Police officers from Tuckahoe and Bronxville were seen canvassing the area on Sunday afternoon, but no arrests have been made yet.

According to a News12 report, the store was closed on Sunday following the robbery. It reopened to the public on Monday morning.

Store officials could not be reached for comment on Monday afternoon.
