Eastchester Town Board Meeting Is Tuesday

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – The Eastchester Town Board will meet at 8 p.m. on Tuesday night, when the Law Department will address a number of issues.

There will be a resolution presented at the meeting that would authorize Supervisor Anthony Colavita to execute an agreement between the county and the town to access telecommunication services through an agreement with Cablevision. They will also discuss changing Montgomery Avenue parking from metered to off-street and will set a date for a public hearing on the matter.

The Law Department will introduce a proposed amendment and set a public hearing that may change the vehicle and traffic code in Eastchester. There are also several resolutions for certiorari settlements on the agenda.

Following the rest of the department reports, there will be two memos read from Town Comptroller Dawn Donovan. The first will address budget transfers.

The meeting will conclude with the council members giving their reports, and residents having an opportunity to address the board.
