WESTCHESTER COUNTY, N.Y. -- Chappaqua resident Hillary Clinton has received $300,000 for her first public appearance since December. She delivered a speech at a women's conference in Silicon Valley on Wednesday, according to a report by Yahoo News.

Clinton addressed the shortage of women in the technology field and the gender pay gap within the industry in her speech, the report said.

Clinton also focused on the fact that many workers have suffered as a result of technology making jobs obsolete, the report said.
