When voters head to the polls on Wednesday, March 18, they will have to choose among incumbent Republican Trustees Tom Giordano, Greg Luisi and Democratic challenger Anthony Fiore Jr., an auxiliary police officer and volunteer firefighter.

In the mayoral race, Incumbent Steve Ecklond is once again running unopposed and will serve his third term as mayor. Ecklond, Giordano and Luisi were each elected to office in 2011.

The elected trustees will join Ecklond in serving two-year terms.

Even if Fiore were to win election, Republicans would still maintain a majority on the board, 3-2, because presently Trustee Stephen Quigley is the only Democrat on the board.

Polls will open at 7 a.m. and close at 9 p.m. on Election Day at the Tuckahoe Community Center.
