TUCKAHOE, N.Y. - The polls are officially open in Tuckahoe, and voters can make their way to Village Hall to make their voices heard in the annual village election.

For the second straight year, the Republican-heavy Tuckahoe Board of Trustees will be challenged by a Democrat on Tuesday when the polls open on village elections in Westchester County.

On Tuesday, when voters head to the polls, they will have the option of choosing between incumbent Republicans Steve Alfasi and Antonio Lee, who are once again facing off against Democratic challenger Anthony Fiore Jr., an auxiliary police officer and volunteer firefighter.

Polls opened at 7 a.m. and will close at 9 p.m. at Tuckahoe Village Hall. The victors will serve two-year terms at a stipend slightly larger than $5,000 annually.
