A New Haven man accused of stabbing his boss Monday has more problems: He may be deported. Norwalk Police received a letter from the United States Citizenship and Immigration Services saying that Willy Samuel, 29, is wanted for illegally entering the country. Police said Samuel has been deported previously and has narcotics convictions, but they don't know if the two are related.
Samuel has been working at Georgey's Barbershop, located at 606 West Ave. He is accused of stabbing the owner of the business with a pair of scissors Monday after they got into an argument over which customer should get his haircut first. He was charged with criminal impersonation, second-degree assault and interfering with a police officer. Bond was set at $50,000.
Samuel presented an I.D. for Rafael Santana, but police used fingerprints to track down his true identity.
