STAMFORD, Conn. – Ernest D. George, 72, died Sunday, March 22.
He was born Feb. 8, 1943, in Whiteville, N.C., the son of the late Willie C. George and Mary Kemp George. He served in the U.S. Army and retired from Perkin Elmer of Norwalk. He was married to Wilhelmina McMillan George of Norwalk.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Ernest George Jr. (Shavonne) and Bryan George (Lucy); three grandchildren; two sisters; four brothers; and a host of aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
Burial took place in Whiteville, N.C.
