The 25-year old woman and two male friends were leaving the restaurant around 2:40 this morning, headed to their cars, when someone in “a large group of people” attacked her, Paramus Chief Christopher Brock told CLIFFVIEW PILOT.

Her friends, both 27, came to her aid, and the fight was on, the chief said.

A fourth friend, seeing what was happening, joined the fracas, he said.

Everyone then took off before police could get there. However, a description of the gang’s vehicles — including a silver motorcycle, a black BMW and a Land Rover — was broadcast over police networks and, soon after, Bergen County Police stopped the bike.

Two people on it were identified by the victims and were taken to Paramus police headquarters for processing, Brock said.

One of the woman’s friends was taken to Hackensack Medical Center for treatment of injuries from the fight, the chief said. She and her other two friends declined medical attention, he said.

If any of them knew what provoked the attack, the apparently weren’t saying.
