BRONXVILLE, N.Y. – The Eastchester High School Concert Choir and the Choirs of Christ Church in Bronxville will provide music for the 22nd annual Community Interfaith Holocaust Commemoration.
Community members of all faiths in Eastchester are invited to a service of peace, recommitment and remembrance at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the Christ Church in Bronxville.
This year’s speaker will be James Lee, who served as the first Ombudsman for the United Nations Funds and Programs. Lee has served around the world with the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF), the Population Fund and the Office for Project Services.
Lee has worked extensively in Rwanda and other places where genocide remains a reality throughout Africa. The service is free and open to the public.
