Eastchester Girl Scouts Launch Art Supply Donation Project

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- Eastchester-based Girl Scout Troop 2520 is attempting to earn its Silver Award by organizing a donation drive for new art supplies for local hospitals.

There are donation boxes available at the annual Eastchester Arts Festival, running through Tuesday in the Eastchester High School gym.

The drive is part of the ArtWorks program, devoted to supplying children's hospitals with art supplies.

The Girl Scouts are asking for coloring books, watercolors, paint and color by number kits, crayons, markers, boys' craft kits, jewelry kits, colored pencils, glitter glue, Playdoh and scrapbooking kits.
