Eastchester Middle, High School Parents Learn About 'Extracurriculars'

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – An “Amazing Extracurriculars” presentation for middle and high school parents is set for Wednesday, Jan. 27 at Eastchester High School.

Presented by Keith Berman, president of Options for College, participants will learn how to take clubs, community service, tutoring, and fundraising activities to the next level and how to make these activities part of a successful college application. There will be real world examples.

Berman will answer questions and have one-one-one talks with participants.

He is a graduate of Yale, Bank Street and Harvard. Berman created the Johns Hopkins University's CTY College Prep program in 2009. He is a frequent speaker, has been an educational planner, teacher and guidance counselor.

The event will run from 7:45 to 9:15 p.m.
