The school hosted local entrepreneurs and professionals as part of the annual Career Day. The event included keynote speaker Ereka Vetrini, an Eastchester High School graduate, who started in finance and became a spokesperson for Estee Lauder, a contestant on the TV show "The Apprentice." Vetrini hosts the Kidspace HGTV and Yahoo program "East Does It."

Representatives said Vetrini encouraged the students to follow their dreams and go after whatever they really wanted to do. She told them the path to what they love is a difficult one and they should continue to work hard and believe in themselves.

Students also participated in three sessions where they were able to hear from filmmaker Paul Doyle, casting agent Stacy Gallo, the fashion industry's  Stephanie Barrett IBM's Tony Cusato and John Heidenreich, Eastchester Police Sgt. Rich Flood, Westchester County Police Officer Brian Tierney, nurse Danielle LeStrange, former Yankees catcher and YES broadcaster John Flaherty, High School teacher Matt D’Amico, Bagel Loft owner Victor Mejia and Eastchester Attorney Debbie Scalise.
