Eastchester Music Students Visit Lincoln Center

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- A group of Eastchester Middle and High School music students visited David Geffen Hall in Lincoln Center recently, where they were able to view an open rehearsal of the New York Philharmonic.

The program on March 17 included Shostakovich's "Suite from The Age of Gold," Sibelius' "Violin Concerto" featuring soloist Leonidas Kavakos, and a premiere of "Karawane" by Esa-Pekka Salonen, featuring New York Choral Artists on accompanying vocals.
