Eastchester Schools Forming Student Choral Groups, Boosters Club Says

EASTCHESTER, N.Y. -- The Eastchester Music Boosters Club announced recently that local high school and middle school students are being sought for two choral clubs.

According to the group’s website, auditions are Thursday for the high school’s a cappella group.

Students will be asked to sing the chorus from a song of their choice without accompaniment. Their harmonizing skills will also be tested.

Middle school students can sign up for select chorus without an audition, the group said. Teachers will recommend students for the chorus, it added.

The Eastchester Union Free School District’s offices are at 580 White Plains Road, Eastchester.
