On Wednesday night, hundreds of students, parents and teacher volunteers crammed into Anne Hutchinson Elementary School for the inaugural “Curriculum Olympics,” event “Math Night.”

At Math Night, teachers volunteered their evening to highlight the school’s mathematics curriculum, and demonstrated educational games that parents can play with their children after school to keep them sharp.

This was the first event of the Home/School Partnership, which will also feature nights such as the “ELA Extravaganza,” an “Arts Festival,” the “Science Olympiad,” and the ever popular Field Day. At the end of the year, the school and PTA will celebrate the class and grade level that had the highest level of participation with a party in their honor.
