EASTCHESTER, N.Y. – Eastchester students will have a scheduled half-day on Tuesday, giving local residents time to vote in local, state and national elections.

Greenvale will be dismissed at 10:30 a.m., the middle and high school at 10:50 a.m., Anne Hutchinson at 11:15 a.m. and Waverly at 11:15 a.m.

According to Eastchester Superintendent Marilyn C. Terranova, bus routes may be simplified depending on road closures. Parents are still being asked to transport children whenever possible.

The Eastchester Police will assist at all major intersections, and buildings may be cooler than normal after being without power for the past week, officials said.
