Pace Student's Coral Reef Documentary Garners Rave Reviews

PLEASANTVILLE, N.Y. -- A Pace University student-produced documentary entitled 'Curaçao’s Coral Challenge – Reviving the Rain Forests of the Sea', recently received praise in winning a 'Best Shorts' award at the Accolade Global Film Competition this past month.

The 26 minute documentary was produced by students in the university's prestigious Media Communications and Visual Arts Program as part of a course on travel documentary production. The documentary examines the growing threats to reef ecosystems, concentration on the Caribbean island of Curaçao.

The films features interviews with marine biologist from around the world and spectacularly shot underwater scenes showcasing exotic life found on reefs. To view the complete documentary, click here.
