The Scarsdale Middle School has temporarily lost power, officials said on Tuesday morning.

An alert was issued shortly after 9 a.m. on Tuesday morning, stating that the Middle School lost power at approximately 7:25 a.m.

The school currently has working bathrooms and the fire alarm system is running on backup power. Con Edison has been contacted, officials said, and parents should have received a Blackboard Connect message.

In Scarsdale, 891 of Con Edison’s 6,025 customers remain without power following the weekend Nor’easter. The first outage was reported at 12:13 p.m. on Friday, with service expected to be restored no later than 11 p.m. on Tuesday night, just in time for a second storm.
