Lew will be replace interim school district business administrator James Reese, who has served for two years.
For the past seven years, Lew has served as the business administrator for the Katonah-Lewisboro school district. She also served as the interim assistant superintendent for five months from February through June 2014. Before that, she was the assistant business official in the Bronxville school district and worked eight years in finance in the private sector.
Lew has a bachelor's degree in psychology from the State University of New York at Stony Brook, a master's of business administration Fordham University and a professional diploma in educational administration -- school business official from the State University of New York at New Paltz. She has a state school business administrator permanent certificate.
"We are confident that Lew possesses the necessary skills, experience and integrity to provide strong leadership for our school business office in the years ahead," said interim Superintendent Charles Wilson.
In addition to her professional experience, Lew previously served as trustee on the Ardsley Board of Education for three terms, two years as board president.
She resides in Ardsley with her husband and enjoys spending time with her three children, traveling and solving crossword puzzles.
