TUCKAHOE, N.Y. -- As the village continues to clean up from the latest winter storm, the Tuckahoe School District will be on a two-hour delay on Tuesday.
Due to the forecast predicting icy road conditions, district officials have announced that schools will be operating on a two-hour delay. Bus schedules have already been adjusted.
Makeup exams will begin during period two, at 10:21 a.m. as per the two-hour delay schedule. All high school students are to report to their first period class upon arrival on Tuesday.
According to the National Weather Service, a winter weather advisory will be in effect until 1 a.m. on Tuesday morning. There is a slight chance of snow showers, and wind chill values are expected to be below zero degrees. Tuesday will see sunny skies with temperatures hovering around 25 degrees.
